Not quite sure I understand the title of "hacks". There were some good ideas and I think this is a book you need yo go thru more than once and take notes. A little disappointed in the last 15 percent of the Kindle version was him promoting his other books. I have his 50 tips book and it seems some things are common to both. Overall a decent read but it was not free as he states at the end.

Absolutely AMAZING! LOVE this book! It is short, to the point, and has excellent advise that really works, as long as you do what it says. You can't just read it and magically lose weight, but if you are motivated to get healthier, this book will help you!

Mr D writes in such a simple, understandable style, it compels the reader to think about his ideas. It sounds easily workable to follow his suggestions. Something to gain, nothing to lose except old habits that have demonstrated themselves to be detrimental to my goals.

This whole book is mostly promotional material for his other works/website and to get any real information you have to go there. He does offer some interesting insights into convincing your brain that you want to exercise, but it felt like some of them were just a rephrasing of "Change the way you think of it". Worth it for the price of FREE.

I am impressed and grateful for a book of this caliber! I have searched long and hard through a multitude if books to find a small part of, what this little book covers. Poignant, cut to the heart, of how our body works with our mind to keep us from the thing we have wanted all our lives. Pulls it out of us so we can look at it from a different perspective, and then incorporating it in our daily routine, today.Thank you, Derek, for all of your hard work and research. You are greatly appreciated.I can't wait to read the other books you offer.

I've only recently discovered Derek's work and I love the fact that he's not merely regurgitating other people's ideas, he's got a fresh perspective based on his own experiences. This guy is walking the talk and sharing it all. I love that.

If you need some reinforcement to modify your behavior, then this book is worth your time. You will get out what you choose to put into it. I needed a little more focus to renew my commitment on my weight loss journey and feel like this was helpful.

Easy enjoyable read with good tips. Positive and motivating. Makes you feel like you can do it too. Good book.

This was somewhat helpful. I can't really say that it changed anything in the was I approach weight control, though. Still, every little bit of motivation helps because there will be times that the desire to break your diet tempts you.
